This revolutionary Peer-to-Peer (P2P) payment system allows Samsung device users to send money instantly and securely to one another simply by tapping devices together[1][2][3][4][5]. This feature, supported by Visa and Mastercard, aims to replace third-party payment apps[5]. During a promotional period from May 30 to July 24, this service is free, but a 1.75% (minimum $0.25) fee will be charged after this period for each transaction[5]. As of now, Tap to Transfer is available in the US and South Korea, with plans to expand to other countries soon[5].
