Sberbank Launches Free AI Workshops for Schoolchildren in Krasnodar

Sberbank has launched AI workshops for schoolchildren in the Krasnodar region. The free classes, held on weekends, teach children aged 5 to 11 about neural networks and programming in Python. The project, an initiative of Sberbank, is seen as an investment in the country's technological future by Maria Prokhorova, Deputy Chairman of the Southwestern Bank.

The workshops, held in Sberbank's Pavlovskaya and Leningradskaya stanitsas offices, are led by high-level IT specialists using the latest technologies. The first classes were taught by instructors from the international programming school 'Algoritmika', introducing children to artificial intelligence and generative neural networks. Evgeny Nadein, Deputy Manager of the Krasnodar branch of Sberbank, highlights the unique and interesting content developed specifically for schoolchildren in collaboration with 'Algoritmika'.

The project requires only two free hours per week, making it accessible for children with busy schedules. It aims to provide free digital skills training, fostering a new generation of tech-savvy individuals.

Sberbank's AI workshops in the Krasnodar region offer schoolchildren a unique opportunity to learn about neural networks and programming. With no tuition fees and flexible scheduling, the project invests in the technological advancement of the country's future.
