Significant reduction in retail prices for the Nissan Ariya electric vehicle, amounting to £9,000 in maximum savings announced officially.
The electric Nissan Ariya, Nissan's new electric SUV, has seen a significant price reduction, making it more affordable for UK customers. Nissan GB Marketing Director, Fiona Mackay, stated that the Ariya now offers greater value without compromising on innovation, design, and performance.
The starting price for the Nissan Ariya is now £33,950 for the 63kWh Ariya Engage model. This is a decrease from the previous price. Single-motor Ariyas also receive a £1,500 grant to help with the price cuts. However, the e-4orce models do not qualify for this subsidy due to a different powertrain exceeding the £37k eligibility price.
The price for the Advance model stands at £37,500, while the Evolve model is now available for £42,500. The Advance e-4orce model costs £45,500. Unfortunately, the official price for the Ariya Nismo remains unchanged at £56,630.
Nissan has introduced a new sub-£40k model for the electric Nissan Ariya, further emphasising its commitment to making electric vehicles accessible to a wider audience. The 87kWh Ariya Engage now costs £35,500.
The electric Nissan Ariya, Nissan's second electric vehicle following the Nissan LEAF, recently made its public driving debut on Monaco's streets. This marks an important step in Nissan's electric vehicle journey and demonstrates their continued investment in sustainable mobility solutions.
It's worth noting that while the Ariya models with 87kWh batteries are excluded from the UK government's £1,500 electric car grant, the Ariya now qualifies for this subsidy. This reduction in price, combined with the grant, makes the electric Nissan Ariya an attractive option for those looking to make the switch to electric vehicles.
The electric Nissan Ariya is now available in the UK for a starting price of £33,950 for the 63kWh Ariya Engage model. With its innovative design, impressive performance, and reduced price, the Ariya is set to make a lasting impact in the UK's electric vehicle market.
