Ready to merge sports, community, and commerce? Fanatics, the leading sports merchandise retailer, has upped its game with the launch of Fanatics Live, their new livestream commerce platform.

Hop on this platform to revel in limited-edition merchandise, trading card "breaks," collectible drops, on-location streaming, and much more interactive experiences. The company's plans extend beyond North America as they aim to rope in creators, brands, and sports leagues from all corners of the globe.

In the works since last year, they've already established relationships with Major League Baseball, Slam Magazine, and VeeFriends, with more partnerships on the horizon. Additionally, they will leverage their existing businesses, like Fanatics Authentic, Topps, and Lids, to level up your shopping experience.

As of now, the app can be found on Apple devices for North American customers. But, the company has plans to release web and Android versions later in the year.

Popular with fans, Fanatics Live enables real-time chats, allowing you to celebrate sporting moments together. Meanwhile, the LiveOS hub caters to sellers with analytics dashboards and livestream management tools.

"We're thrilled to launch Fanatics Live and see a massive potential to blend content, community, and commerce," says Nick Bell, CEO of Fanatics Live. "Our aim is to create a trusted haven for fans, bringing together like-minded individuals on our platform with high-quality entertainment programming. Commerce becomes secondary but an inevitable outcome of it."

In a busy live shopping market, Fanatics outruns competitors by also acquiring Fexpro, a wholesaler company that caters to Latin American shoppers, last month.

Meanwhile, expect more companies to swarm the livestream shopping scene. For instance, in April, Poshmark unveiled its Posh Shows feature, and Qurate Retail Group introduced Sune, a video and livestream shopping platform.

Studies predict the livestream commerce market will thrive, with the live e-commerce market projected to surpass $31 billion this year and rise to $67.8 billion by 2026.

So buckle up for real-time shopping experiences like never before!
