However, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions are yet to be released, with no official announcement or release date yet.
Developed by RageSquid and published by No More Robots, Descenders Next focuses on boarding sports, including snowboarding and mountainboarding. The game is currently available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox PC app, and Steam for $29.99. It's also included in Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Despite the excitement surrounding the release of Descenders Next, NoMoreRobots and RageSquid have not provided further updates about the PlayStation versions as of July 27, 2025. The release took place on Monday morning and was unexpected (shadow drop).
