Swiss Chip Cooling Startup Corintis Raises $24M for Expansion
Swiss startup Corintis has secured $24 million in a Series A funding round, led by BlueYard Capital, to boost its advanced chip cooling solutions. Since its inception in 2022, the company has shipped over 10,000 cooling systems and achieved eight-digit revenue.
Corintis specializes in efficient liquid cooling methods for chips, using software to automate cooling systems and manufacturing cold plates for heat transfer. The company's innovative technology channels liquid inside the chip, reducing power and water use. Following the funding round, Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan joined Corintis' board.
With the new funds, Corintis plans to expand its team to around 50 employees by the end of 2023 and open offices in the U.S. The company aims to significantly increase its production capacity, from the current 100,000 to 1 million cold plates per year.
The $24 million investment, led by BlueYard Capital and joined by Founderful, Acequia Capital, Celsius Industries, and XTX Ventures, will support Corintis' growth and help it meet the increasing demand for efficient chip cooling solutions.
