Tanium Promotes a New Regional Vice President for Australia and New Zealand

Tanium, a leading autonomous endpoint management company, has made several key appointments in the Australia and New Zealand region to capitalize on the growing demand for cybersecurity services.

Paul Tuffs, who previously served as the Regional Vice President of the AI-driven spend management platform Coupa, has joined Tanium as the Australia and New Zealand Regional Vice President. Tuffs brings over 15 years of experience from cloud services company Rackspace to his new role, where he held various leadership positions, including Sales Director of Australia and New Zealand.

Tuffs expressed his excitement about the intersection between AI, IT operations, and security, stating, "I am thrilled to join Tanium, a real-time cloud-based endpoint management company, at a time when the need for visibility and real-time monitoring of endpoints to proactively reduce risk has never been greater."

In his new role, Tuffs will spearhead the company's expansion efforts in the region, forging strong partnerships to empower organizations to embrace autonomous endpoint management. He will also capitalize on the increasing demand for cybersecurity news, driving strategic initiatives to meet the needs of the market.

James Greenwood, who was previously at Microsoft, has been promoted to Regional Vice President of Technical Account Management at Tanium. Greenwood will lead the pre-sales and enterprise services teams across Australia, New Zealand, and ASEAN. He will be responsible for ensuring the success of Tanium's customers in the region by providing technical expertise and guidance.

The appointment of Tuffs and Greenwood comes at a time when the Australia and New Zealand market has seen a spike in demand for cybersecurity services. According to Gartner, 87% of CIOs and technology executives anticipate increased investments towards cybersecurity in 2024. This demand is further highlighted by the numerous high-profile breaches in Australia and New Zealand in recent years.

With these appointments, Tanium reaffirms its commitment to the Australia and New Zealand market and its leadership in the endpoint management space. The company looks forward to continuing to help organizations secure their endpoints and protect their digital assets in the face of increasing cyber threats.
