Telefónica Tech, Tata Communications, and Thales honored as Top Connectivity Vendors by Kaleido Intelligence

In a recent development, Kaleido Intelligence, a renowned connectivity market research and consulting firm, has released its latest Connectivity Vendor Hub research for 2024. This comprehensive study assessed 39 established service providers across Connectivity Management Platforms (CMP), eSIM Connectivity, and eSIM Subscription Management.

The research, which took over five months to complete, involved product demos, questionnaires, interviews, and briefings. Kaleido's method for categorizing vendors is based on product excellence, market positioning, problem-solving skills, innovative prowess, and alignment with current and future market needs.

Alfredo Serret, the IoT director of Telefonica Tech, expressed delight as his company was recognised as the number 1 assessed company in IoT connectivity. Telefonica Tech was scored as the number one Champion in CMP, demonstrating their leadership in this crucial area.

Marco Bijvelds, the vice president and head of Tata Communications MOVE, also shared his joy at being recognised as the number 1 Champion in the latest Vendor Hub assessment. Tata Communications was recognised as the number one Champion in eSIM Connectivity, highlighting their dominance in this sector. Thales was scored as the number one Champion in eSIM Subscription Management.

The Connectivity Vendor Hub report summarises the leadership scoring analysis for these 39 different connectivity vendors, along with an assessment of company strengths and opportunities. It also identifies key challenges related to security and regulation in the connectivity market.

Champion vendors in the Connectivity Vendor Hub received Kaleido Scores of 12 and above, while High-Flyers received scores between 10 and 12. In total, 11 vendors received Champion Kaleido scores, and 28 vendors were recognised as High-Flyers.

Steffen Sorrell, the chief of research at Kaleido Intelligence, states that the Connectivity Vendor Hub benchmarking is heavily driven by primary engagement with end-customers and service providers.
