Tenth MIX PoP Held at Lepida's Data Centre, Bologna
In a significant move towards its decentralization strategy, MIX, Italy's leading internet network interconnection platform, has announced the expansion of its services in Bologna. The new point of presence (PoP), named MIX Bologna, is located within BOIX, the datacenter of Lepida, the ICT services hub of the Emilia Romagna region.
Alessandro Talotta, Executive President and Chairman of MIX, made the announcement, marking the second MIX PoP outside Lombardy, following the one activated in Palermo in 2017.
