The Mountaineering Transformation is in progress

In the world of exclusive sports cars, Alpine is making waves with its innovative approach and ambitious plans. The French automaker is developing its own technologies, such as the internal combustion hydrogen engine and the ADM, Alpine Dynamic Module, to set itself apart.

Alpine is partnering with new investors like Otro Capital, RedBird Capital Partners, and Maximum Effort Investments to accelerate its transformation. These partnerships will help the company to grow and expand its offerings.

One of the most exciting developments is the production of a Segment C crossover GT at the Alpine Dieppe Jean Rédelé plant in France, scheduled for 2025. This new model will undoubtedly add to Alpine's growing popularity.

Alpine's success is evident in its financial performance. In 2022, the company entered the top 150 most valuable brands in France, valued at 550 million euros. The A110, Alpine's best-selling sports car in France, ranks in the top 5 of the sports coupe segment in Europe.

The company's sales reached a record level in 2022 with a 33% increase compared to 2021, and sales are expected to exceed 4,200 units in 2023. The global order book for Alpine reached 7 months of sales in 2022, indicating strong demand for its vehicles.

Alpine is not resting on its laurels. The automaker will launch two new vehicles from segments D/E as part of its "Dream Garage" lineup. These new models will undoubtedly attract even more customers to the Alpine brand.

To ensure a seamless driving experience, Alpine will rely on external partners for connectivity services (Google) and the supply of high-performance French-made electric batteries (Verkor). The APP platform will be used for new vehicles, including a unique cabriolet based on the A110 and the new A310, a 4-seater sports coupe.

Alpine's growth is also reflected in its expanding network of sales points. The number of sales points doubled in just over two years, bringing the total to 140 sales points by the end of 2022. Alpine currently employs nearly 2,000 employees, with 5 design and manufacturing sites: Dieppe, Les Ulis, Guyancourt, Viry-Châtillon, and Enstone.

Looking to the future, Alpine has announced that the new A110, the flagship of the brand, will become 100% electric by the end of 2026. The A290, a future urban electric sports car, is expected to arrive in 2024 based on the CMFB-EV platform of Renault 5 and Renault 4.

Alpine's strategy will be detailed on Monday, June 26, 2023, during the Alpine Future Tour event in Enstone, UK. The company aims to achieve an operating margin above 10% by 2030, ensuring the long-term sustainability of its business model.

In addition to its focus on electrification, Alpine seeks to develop its brand image with an increasing presence in motorsports, such as the World Endurance Championship and Formula 1. With its innovative technologies, exciting new models, and commitment to sustainability, Alpine is poised for a bright future.
