Kinto Corp. Launches Subscription Service for Sports Cars
Kinto Corp., a car leasing affiliate of Toyota Motor Corp., has entered the subscription service market with an offering tailored for motorsports enthusiasts. The service provides access to three sports car models: the GR Yaris, GR 86, and GR Supra.
For those interested, the monthly fees for the sports cars are as follows:
- GR Yaris: 178,000 yen
- GR 86: 148,000 yen
- GR Supra: 208,000 yen
It's important to note that these fees include insurance and maintenance costs. However, an application fee is required for each vehicle, and the maximum subscription duration is two years.
In addition to the subscription service, Kinto Corp. also offers rental services for the three sports car models, starting at 30,000 yen for eight hours. The rental fees do not include insurance and maintenance costs, unlike the subscription service. The rental service does not specify a maximum subscription period either.
Beyond the rental and subscription services, Kinto Corp. provides driving experiences using the GR Yaris, Toyota 86, and Vitz at circuits in Chiba Prefecture and Aichi Prefecture. These experiences are complemented by events where participants can receive driving lessons from professional drivers. These events are aimed at motorsports enthusiasts and are held at locations east of Tokyo and central Japan.
A lottery for subscription service applications began on Wednesday. However, the rental service does not have a lottery system for applications.
