Malaysian identity document producer NexG Bhd is investing approximately RM250 million (roughly US$15.38 million) to build a state-of-the-art, Industry 4.0-ready secure identity document production facility. The RM250 million financing for the project will be sourced from internal funds, equity fundraising, strategic partnerships, and borrowings. Each phase of the operation is anticipated to generate revenues ranging from US$100 million to US$200 million, based on the types of documents produced, country-specific requirements, project scope, and security features embedded in the documents.
