UK pricing unveiled for Isuzu's electric D-Max EV pickup truck
The Isuzu D-Max EV, the first battery-powered professional pickup in Europe, is now available for pre-order in the UK. The electric pickup truck will be offered in two trim levels - eDL40 and D-Max eV-Cross - and buyers can choose between Extended or Double Cab body styles.
The D-Max EV is priced from £59,995 (excluding VAT) for the Extended Cab eDL40 model, and £60,995 (excluding VAT) for the Double Cab variant. The range-topping eV-Cross Double Cab comes at around £62,495 (excluding VAT). This price is approximately £30,000 more than the equivalent diesel versions.
Performance-wise, the D-Max EV features dual electric motors generating a combined 188 hp (140 kW) and 240 lb-ft (325 Nm) of torque, delivering permanent all-wheel drive capability. It can tow up to 3.5 tonnes and has a payload capacity of up to 1.0 tonne, matching the diesel model's capabilities despite the electric powertrain.
The D-Max EV is equipped with a 66.9 kWh lithium-ion NMC battery pack, providing a WLTP range of 163 miles. Charging is limited to a maximum rapid charge rate of 50 kW, which allows a 10-80% battery top-up in around 60 minutes.
Standard equipment on the eDL40 trim level includes bi-LED headlights, front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, heated front seats, an 8.0-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a dedicated Rough Terrain Mode. Upgrading to the eV-Cross trim adds a 9.0-inch infotainment screen, an automatically dimming rear-view mirror, and an eight-speaker audio system.
Like all Isuzu models, the D-Max EV comes with a five-year/125,000-mile warranty inclusive of roadside assistance for five years. Customer deliveries of the D-Max EV in the UK are scheduled to start in March 2026.
