UK's Durata Global Launches AI:20, a Modular Data Centre for Rapid AI & HPC Deployment
UK-based Durata Global has launched the AI:20, a modular data centre designed to meet the compressed timelines of AI and high-performance computing (HPC) demands. This innovative solution promises a significant reduction in deployment time compared to traditional data centre builds.
The AI:20 is a scalable and rapidly deployable alternative to traditional data centre builds. Its modular structure allows for phased rollout, enabling operators to scale up incrementally. Pre-engineered to a degree of 75%, it offers predictability while remaining 25% customisable for adaptability.
Durata's Head of Modular Data Centre Projects, Lewis Cobb, describes the AI:20 as a turnkey 'AI factory'. It can be deployed in just 12-15 months, a stark contrast to the 3-4 years required for a traditional data centre build. The AI:20 is designed to deliver capacity in line with the market's compressed timelines for AI and HPC demands, providing 20 MW of compute capacity.
Manufactured in Middlesbrough, UK, the AI:20 is shipped worldwide to manage AI and HPC workloads. A report from Dell'Oro Group predicts that data centre infrastructure spending tied to AI could surpass $500 billion by 2027, highlighting the growing need for solutions like the AI:20.
Durata Global's AI:20 modular data centre offers a swift and adaptable solution for AI and HPC demands. With its rapid deployment time and scalable design, it addresses the market's need for speed and flexibility in data centre infrastructure.
