Underwater photography enthusiasts rejoice: SeaLife's new SportDiver iPhone case, designed for underwater captures, has been unveiled.

The SeaLife SportDiver iPhone housing is a new addition to the underwater photography market, designed specifically for Apple's iPhone. This innovative housing allows users to take their photography skills to new depths, offering access to advanced camera settings that enhance underwater photography.

The housing connects to the iPhone and the dedicated SportDiver App using Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) 5 wireless technology. With this connection, users can adjust various settings such as Zoom, Exposure (EV), Manual Focus, White Balance, Tint, Lens selection, RAW+JPEG mode, Live Photo, and Background Blur. The housing also provides video stabilization to reduce shake during underwater filming, depending on the smartphone model being used.

The housing is ergonomically designed with a large shutter lever and rear control buttons for easy operation underwater. It also offers customization options with accessories like Sea Dragon lights and lenses through multiple mounting points.

The SeaLife SportDiver Pro 2500 Set, which includes a Sea Dragon 2500 Underwater Video Light, tray, and handle, retails for $649.95. The standard SeaLife SportDiver Underwater Housing for iPhone (SL-400) is available for $299.95. Both models are waterproof up to 30 meters (100 feet) and feature a dual leak alarm system for safety.

Deliveries of the SportDiver iPhone housing are planned to start in November, 2020. The housing includes a removable underwater color-correction filter, a vacuum pump, rubber grip tabs, spare O-rings, O-ring lubricant, O-ring removal tool, deluxe wrist strap with clip, Moisture Muncher sample pack, AAA alkaline batteries, and an EVA Carry Case.

To prevent interior fogging, the SportDiver uses the anti-fogging agent "Moisture Muncher" capsule. The housing is constructed of Polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminum, and optical grade glass for durability and performance.

The housing's door is sealed with a TPE O-ring and a robust cam-lock sealing latch for added security. It weighs less than 1.5 pounds (641 grams) and offers almost neutral buoyancy in water. The SportDiver housing is compatible with iPhone 7 and up models.

With the SeaLife SportDiver iPhone housing, underwater photography has never been more accessible or feature-rich. Whether you're a seasoned underwater photographer or a beginner looking to capture stunning images, the SportDiver housing offers a versatile and user-friendly solution.
