Meta Corporation Unveils New Smart Glasses and Announces Horizon TV
Meta Corporation, the tech giant behind Facebook, has been making waves in the tech industry with its latest announcements. Priced at $799, these smart glasses maintain a classic style while being the first AI glasses from Meta Corporation. The Ray-Ban Meta-Ban Display is the first consumer glasses from Meta with an integrated display and control via neural hand gestures using a wristband. This innovative feature makes it possible for users to interact with their meta glasses without the need for physical buttons. Sales for the Ray-Ban Meta-Ban Display will start in the US on September 30.
In addition to the Ray-Ban Meta-Ban Display, Meta Corporation also unveiled the Oakley Meta Vanguard. Designed for extreme sports enthusiasts, the Oakley Meta Vanguard offers a sporty wraparound design, an enhanced camera for 3K videos, up to nine hours of battery life, and compatibility with Garmin fitness watches. The Oakley Meta Vanguard features a button on the underside of the frame, allowing helmeted athletes to easily capture photos and videos. Sales for the Oakley Meta Vanguard will start on October 21.
Another exciting announcement made by Meta Corporation was the launch of Horizon TV, a platform for streaming TV, sports, and films via Quest VR headsets. Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta Corporation, introduced Horizon TV, which will partner with Disney and Universal Pictures, among others.

This collaboration has led to the development of the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2), the latest version of the original smart glasses. The Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) is priced at $379 and offers double the battery life (eight hours) and a more powerful camera. Sales for the Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) start immediately.
