Unveils the debut of innovation-centric subsidiary, LX Studio, on our platform
In an effort to accelerate legal innovation and deliver efficient legal services, global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has launched LX Studio, a US-based subsidiary focused on digital transformation and innovative legal strategies.
LX Studio's business model is centered around more than just legal advice. According to Jeff Cody, the US Managing Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright's website, the subsidiary is built to provide clients with problem-solving capabilities, going beyond traditional legal advice.
Christy Bentz, the Chief Client Value & Innovation Officer, emphasized the need to meet clients where they are, and LX Studio is designed to support clients in a more personalized manner. The subsidiary aims to identify, develop, and invest in the best technology, helping clients put it to use quickly, effectively, and comprehensively.
LX Studio's focus is on leveraging digital tools and innovative approaches to transform traditional legal services. The subsidiary will house some of Norton Rose Fulbright's existing technology products, including the award-winning privacy compliance tool suite NT Analyzer.
Gina Shishima, the Chief Strategy and Operations Partner, stated that LX Studio allows the firm to capitalize on its tremendous resources and innovative focus. LX Studio will be part of the firm's global innovation and service delivery program, NRF Transform.
Christy Bentz's statement underscores the importance of LX Studio in positioning the firm to adapt to evolving legal service delivery expectations. LX Studio provides a platform for more intentional collaboration with clients on the 'how' of legal service delivery.
LX Studio will collaborate with legal technology companies, alternative legal services providers, and may partner with or invest in novel technologies. The subsidiary's goal is to benefit Norton Rose Fulbright's clients beyond traditional legal advice, helping them achieve legal and business objectives efficiently.
According to Gina Shishima, LX Studio's focus is on the unending evolution of the business and practice of law.
