The electric vehicle landscape in India is about to witness a significant addition with the launch of the new Rorr EZ model by Oben, scheduled for August 5, 2025. This latest offering is built on Oben's proprietary O100 platform, a modular design developed in-house at the brand's R&D centre in Bengaluru.

At the heart of the Rorr EZ is Oben's advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology. This technology offers double the lifespan and 50% higher heat resistance compared to typical batteries, making it an ideal choice for Indian climatic conditions.
The Rorr EZ comes with three battery options: 2.6 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh. The 3.4 kWh variant, for instance, delivers a top speed of 95 km/h and an IDC-certified range of up to 175 km.
The motor power of the Rorr EZ is 7.5 kW. It can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds, demonstrating impressive performance. The bike also features disc brakes front and rear, equipped with Unified Braking System for enhanced safety.
In terms of connectivity, the Rorr EZ offers Bluetooth and Wi-Fi mobile connectivity, a digital speedometer and odometer, and navigation features. Additional features include push-button start, geo-fencing, and theft protection. The bike also offers three ride modes: Eco, City, and Havoc.
The pricing of the Rorr EZ is expected to range from approximately ₹99,999 to ₹1.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), depending on the battery variant. The bike will be available in four colours: Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White.
