Upcoming Moto G54 5G to feature India's inaugural Mediatek Dimensity 7020 chip, unveiling on September 6.
Motorola is set to debut its latest 5G offering, the Moto G54, in India on September 6. The upcoming smartphone has been confirmed by both Motorola and Flipkart, with a trio of colour options - Mint Green, Pearl Blue, and Midnight Blue - available upon its release.
The Moto G54 5G is anticipated to boast a modern design with a rectangular camera module on the back, housing a dual camera setup and flash. A punch-hole cutout will grace the front, accompanied by a flat edge and a chin situated beneath the display. The power and volume buttons will be located on the right side of the frame, while the SIM tray will reside on the left.
In terms of specifications, the Moto G54 5G is expected to sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display capable of a 120Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. The smartphone will run on Android 13 at launch, with promises of Android 14 and three years of security updates.
This latest model is rumored to be the first in India to incorporate the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor. The device will also feature a 6000mAh battery paired with support for up to 33-watt fast charging.
The camera Setup comprises a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and PDAF, along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. A 16-megapixel selfie camera rounds off the imaging hardware.
The Moto G54 5G will be available for purchase on Motorola's official website, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital. While official pricing details are yet to be revealed, leaks suggest a starting price of ₹14,999 for the base model, with the 12GB RAM variant potentially selling for ₹18,999.
