The latest update to AMD's graphics driver, Adrenalin 25.9.1, has been released, bringing exciting news for gamers. This new version introduces support for FSR 4, AMD's latest and most advanced upscaling technology, to 85 DirectX-12 titles on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards.

Notable games like Borderlands 4, Hell Is Us, Cyberpunk 2077, Ghost of Tsushima, and F1 25 can now benefit from FSR 4, with the upgrade happening seamlessly without requiring any game patches.

This update also marks the official support for Borderlands 4 and The Last of Us. Additionally, it addresses issues found in Monster Hunter Wilds, Mafia: The Old Country, and Wu Chang: Fallen Fathers, ensuring smoother gaming experiences.

For those interested, the list of FSR-4 compatible games with Adrenalin 25.9.1 can be found online. It's important to note that not all games with FSR 3.1 support may be able to switch to FSR 4. This could be due to FSR 3.1 not being implemented according to AMD's guidelines in the DirectX-12 title, or because the title uses Vulkan instead of DirectX 12.

The CB-Funk Podcast #136 delves deeper into this topic, discussing the release of FSR 4 on RDNA 3 and the 'Mouse Revolution'. The podcast features Jan-Frederik and Fabian as hosts.

The new driver update, available in German as well, is part of AMD's continued efforts to improve gaming experiences and prepare for a future where games are expected to increasingly launch with FSR 4 support.

Stay tuned for more updates and improvements as AMD continues to innovate in the gaming space.
