Vibrant Visuals: Your Bedrock Edition Evolution
Zachary Boddy, my Minecraft-obsessed colleague, has compiled everything you need to know about Vibrant Visuals, along with some killer comparison shots. 📸
Saddle Up, Ghast Rider!
My little boy and I (and my poor laptop) have been having a blast with the Happy Ghast in the preview build. But the update dropping on June 17 means it's time to switch over to console gaming, YAY! 🥳 The main attraction of Chase the Skies is, of course, our new flyer, but don't expect to fly away right away. 🛄
Get ready for an adrenaline-pumping adventure – rocket your way through the Nether, collect or craft dried Ghasts, hydrate them to make Ghastlings, and take your time to carefully nurture them with snowballs. Once they're ready, saddle up and take off! 🚀🎉
Also, up to five players can fly together! 🤩🎉
The Player Locator Bar: Your New Best Friend
Losing players in Minecraft? It's practically a rite of passage (and I personally don't take that risk anymore with co-ordinates always on). But the new Player Locator bar makes it simple to find your missing pals. 🔍
The locator bar shows player positions using color-coded dots, right where your XP bar used to be. Elevation arrows give you a heads up if a friend is deep underground in the caves or scaling the mountains above you. Need to disappear? Just crouch to be undetectable!
