Vortex Dynamics Unveils Solar-Powered Micro Red Dot Sights: Defender & Venom
Vortex Dynamics has unveiled two new solar-powered micro red dot sights: Vortex Defender and Vortex Venom. Both models offer versatile mounting options and extensive brightness settings.
The Defender series comes in two variants, Defender-CCW and Defender-ST. They utilise the Shield RMS footprint and DeltaPointPro footprint respectively. These models boast a multi-reticle option combining a 3-MOA dot and a 32-MOA ring, along with left-side buttons for easy control. They also feature a solar panel for extended battery life, lasting up to 150,000 hours. Both Defender models offer 10 daytime and 2 night vision brightness settings.
The Venom, on the other hand, uses the DeltaPoint Pro footprint and is priced at $199. It provides a choice of 3-MOA or 6-MOA red dot reticle and top buttons. Like the Defender series, it also offers 10 daytime and 2 night vision brightness settings. All models come with mounting hardware, tools, and instructions.
The Vortex Defender-CCW and Defender-ST are priced at $299 and $379 respectively, offering solar-powered convenience and versatile reticle options. The Venom, at $199, provides a more affordable option with similar brightness settings and mounting flexibility.
