WFL Unveils M70 MILLTURN for Heavy Workpieces at EMO Hannover 2025
WFL Millturn Technologies, a leading manufacturer of multifunctional turning, drilling, and milling centres, has showcased its latest innovations at EMO Hannover 2025. The highlight was the M70 MILLTURN, a machine capable of handling large and heavy workpieces, equipped with customised automation solutions and Industry 4.0 features.
The M70 MILLTURN, a crowd-puller at the trade fair, boasts an impressive main spindle delivering up to 5,860 Newton metres of torque and reaching speeds of up to 2,500rpm. Its milling unit is equally powerful, delivering up to 58 kilowatts, reaching 8,000rpm, and having a maximum torque of 640 Newton metres. This machine is designed for continuous 24/7 production and can be combined with robots, gantry loaders, or complete manufacturing cells.
Visitors also learned about WFL's automation solutions. The M70 MILLTURN can be equipped with customised automation solutions, including workpiece handling, tool supply, and automatic changing of chucks and tailstocks. Moreover, WFL automation cells can be equipped with numerous innovative features, allowing for small series and individual parts production. The M70 MILLTURN is fully digitally networked, with features like CrashGuard, Millturn PRO, and myWFL cockpit for Industry 4.0 readiness. Additionally, visitors were introduced to WFL's automation solution using a storage tower on the proven M20 MILLTURN.
