In a significant move to expand its portfolio and reinforce its presence in the US market, EVS, a leading provider of live production tools, has announced the acquisition of US-based media robotics company, Telemetrics. The deal, scheduled to close on October 1st, 2025, marks a pivotal step in EVS's expansion strategy.

The acquisition of Telemetrics, renowned for its expertise in robotics and camera control systems, will unlock synergies across the EVS ecosystem. Telemetrics' legacy of innovation and precision aligns perfectly with EVS's mission to empower customers with advanced live production technology. The acquisition will also provide EVS with production capacity in the US, which will help mitigate the impact of tariffs on imports and support agility in manufacturing and supply chain management.

Financially, Telemetrics reported solid performance with positive EBITDA margins (~11%) and will contribute revenue starting in Q4 2025, providing an immediate addition to EVS's financial results.

Serge Van Herck, CEO of EVS, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating that it represents a significant step in expanding EVS's footprint and enhancing its portfolio with intelligent robotics solutions. Michael Cuomo, VP of Telemetrics, is proud to bring Telemetrics into the EVS ecosystem. He sees this acquisition as an opportunity for international expansion and enhanced integration with EVS’s world-class platforms, promising growth and collaborative innovation opportunities for employees, customers, and partners alike.

The partnership between EVS and Telemetrics is expected to drive mutual success in the media production robotics industry. The acquisition opens new markets and joint development initiatives for Telemetrics' business partners. Customers of Telemetrics will also benefit from expanded support, smarter automation, and deeper integration with EVS's world-class platforms.

In summary, the acquisition is a strategic growth initiative designed to strengthen EVS’s competitive position globally through portfolio diversification, market expansion, operational flexibility, and synergy realization within the media production ecosystem, ultimately aiming to increase long-term shareholder value.
