Zoom Unveils Major Workplace Updates at Zoomtopia 2025
Zoom has revealed a slew of updates to its Workplace platform at Zoomtopia 2025, aiming to boost productivity and enhance hybrid work environments. The updates, set to roll out over the coming months, include photorealistic AI avatars, customisable waiting rooms, real-time voice translation, and improved video and audio fidelity.
Starting in September, enterprises can test Zoom for Cisco Rooms in beta. This integration will allow businesses to run Zoom more smoothly on their existing Cisco equipment.
By December, users can expect photorealistic AI avatars to support them in various business settings. Additionally, real-time voice translation will enable participants to hear meetings in their preferred language. Customisable waiting rooms will also debut, letting hosts greet participants with personalised video messages or AI avatars.
